How it's made
Ice and water do the work that chemicals do elsewhere. Four steps, no shortcuts — here's the whole thing.
Whole cannabis plants are carefully harvested at peak ripeness and frozen immediately to preserve the delicate resin coating the flowers. As hash makers, we work closely with our farmers to honor their months of hard work each year — the highest quality live rosin is made in the field.
Frozen flowers are soaked in reverse osmosis water and gently agitated to separate the trichomes — the resin which gives each cannabis variety its unique aroma, flavor and effect. These trichomes are then separated by grade using mesh bags and freeze dried to preserve the essence of the living plant.
Dried trichomes are then packed into filter bags and pressed using heat and pressure for further refinement. This process releases the cannabinoid and terpene rich live rosin from the trichomes and removes contaminants like waxes, lipids and residual plant matter.
Finally, freshly pressed rosin is homogenized and loaded into jars for curing. We use the same premium quality live rosin for all of our products whether whipped into badder or melted and filled into all-in-ones.
Why Solventless
Most concentrates use solvents — butane, propane, ethanol, CO₂ — to strip the resin from the plant and alter its natural ratios of terpenes and cannabinoids. Solventless extraction allows us to separate only the ripest trichome heads — the 80–139 micron range — keeping the plant's terpenes and cannabinoids in their natural ratio, so what you taste is as close to the living flower as it gets.
